This project provides permanent working accommodation to support JP2072 Phase 2B capability.
We constructed the facility to provide adaptable and flexible spaces that will continue to meet the JP2072 Phase 2B system’s needs into the future.
The project was meticulously programmed over two stages of delivery, to ensure the construction, commissioning and completion phases were fully integrated with the Department of Defence’s broader delivery of the JP2072 Phase 2B programme.
- Stage 1: Construction of a new 620m2 facility including office accommodation, electronic testing area, covered equipment – test area, storage and support areas. Included in this Stage is the relocation of the existing staff and equipment from the existing facilities following commissioning, certification and accreditation
- Stage 2: Including decommissioning, removal and disposal of the existing demountable facilities and remediation of the existing Site.
Celebrating Reconciliation Through Sport and Community
NACP Projects was proud to support the 2017 Reconciliation event at Simpson Barracks, contributing sponsorship to help bring the community together in celebration of unity and culture. The event featured an AFL game on site, with Toby Bedford, son of our Chairman, Dickie Bedford, and now a professional player with Greater Western Sydney, taking part in the match. Our involvement reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering reconciliation and strengthening connections across communities.
